Does anyone know the source of the oft repeated quote from Jerry Falwell about “kicking butts?” Jerry is not always the most delicate spokesperson but I would like some proof that he said this.
"The fact is we've gone on the offense now. We've put them on the defense. We're kicking their butts and they're unhappy."
I have seen it quoted in a lot of places. No one has said where or when he said it. I just wonder.

Well, that's what I mean. Lots of people say he said it, but there is not documentation. I don't doubt that to many, some of the things that Falwell says are offensive.
But the semi swearing is what makes me wonder. Unlike the modern generation of Christians whose blogs I read, swearing was a no no.
Why is that a big deal. Because the one thing that convinced Peter's accusers that he wasn't a follower of the Gallilean was when he swore. Matthew 26:74
I realize, Kicking Butts is a pretty mild explicative in today's TV accomadating culture, but it would surprise me to hear Christians of my Age and older use it.
